Artist Christina Kimeze worked with Dovecot Studios for her exhibition 'Between Wood and Wheel' at the South London Gallery. The team at Dovecot in Edinburgh turned one of Kimeze's paintings, 'Blue Door', into a beautiful tapestry. This is the beautiful, beehive shaped Dovecot on the grounds of Aberdour Castle Internally, there are some 600 nests ranged round the walls in tiers. It is undated, but likely to have been built towards the end of the 16th century.
